Moderators Nergal Posted February 28, 2012 Moderators Share Posted February 28, 2012 WMI service needs to be enabled and started I believe ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Willy2
There's a program called "Windows Repair" (www.tweaking.com) that can help you to solve this WMI problem. Run the program and make sure that you - at least - tick the box "Repair WMI". It will reset WMI.
