Here in the UK, ITV 1 gives in depth coverage of F1 qualifying and race day. For those outside the UK, their web site is stacked with information, photos and reports.

There`s also a newsletter and a forum.

You said you might be ditching that if you had to pay.

Is it still free, or have you given in. smile.gif

I stated I would ditch it "if" they ever lost F1 coverage like they did with WRC. But in order for that to happen they'll first have to loose F1 coverage but to my knowledge according to some info they'll have F1 coverage for a little while longer maybe a few more years.

I just feel that F1 is such a big motorsport that it should be aired on regular television - not a payed cable channel. On occasions over the last few years F1 has been airing a small handful of races per year on regular t.v., however that's don't quote me on this "in compliance to the F1 Administrations wishes, i.e. Bernie's wishes."

I stand corrected. smile.gif

We`re lucky here insofar that ITV (free terrestial TV), and not Sky ( pay satellite), are contracted to cover F1.

May it always remain so.

In my opinion that's the way it should always be since not everyone is going to justify the cost of pay TV.
