Full Version: Using wildcards (xyz*.*) to delete files

I tried using wild cards *, ? to delete a series of files in a folder and was not able to do it. However I am able to use *.* to delete all files in a folder.

Please advise solution if possible.

Command prompt should support both asterisk and question mark wild cards. What happens when you try - nothing, or an error message?
