Having a problem trying to play a DVD on my computer with Media Player 10... It's saying I need a decoder for media player 10... does anyone know where I can down load a free one... all the one's I've noticed cost doe.

Yep, download this and install all of the codecs. Choose to download only media player classic as well and not bs player.

Try VLC or Media Player Classic.
