I tried to recover files on a micro sd card but it tells me I must format it. I don't want to lose the info on it. will I be able to recover all this info after reformatting the card and running this program? Help!

Don't try a recovery program just yet. First try plugging the camera usb cable into the computer, instead of the plugging the card into a card reader.

On this system, wxp home, the computer found the pictures on the camera just fine, but would not read just the card. I think the card reader here is just too old.
