I try to recover an Outlook.pst-file after I formatted my hard disk to install Windows 7. Recuva is the only software which is able to find the file on the disk, many other tools I tried did not even find it. But when I recover ANY file Recuva finds, just 50% of the file are recovered. The recovered files do have exactly half the file size they should have. I tried out different file types also with different sizes, all in excellent condition, but always the same result.

I hope that someone knows something about this.

Thanks, we'll have a look at this

This has failed because a different cluster size was used when you installed W7. We're not sure that we can find a way of handling this, but we will have a try.
