Hej...
since I installed CCleaner on Win 7 Premium final... everytime I run "Cleaner" and Regístry" I cannot longer "save or run" downloaded software.
Clicking on a download link.. does not open the window, where you can choose "save or run".. but just a window where nothing happens..If I reboot the PC then it work again.
I use the same setting I used on Vista SP2.. and it worked fin there.
See screenshots.. any help please?

Are you cleaning while the browser is open? Also have you tried unchecking index.dat under Internet Explorer?

Thanks..
browser is closed.
with or without check in .dat is the same..
Now I run "compatibility" as Win XP SP2 and it works as it should..
I think it's a bug..

...it started again tonight.
I have 2 PCs same issue.
I did not change anythimg, so I cannpt explain why it's random. I rebooted both PCs, and everything is fine.
I run CC and it's bad again.

Try not using the registry cleaner for a couple of days and see if the problem comes back. Maybe the best course of action is to try and isoate it to either the cleaner section or the registry. At that point we can narrow it down further.

I tried that, it seems the issue is not the registry cleaning.. but explorer or else.
