I've used SAS for a long time. I don't run it resident -- just use it for on-demand scans. It seems like launching the program itself -- and getting updates -- both take forever. Does anyone else experience this?

It indeed takes a good amount of time. Perhaps it's self-checking or something to verify its own files, just a guess since allot of security software does that.

There is a new version released yesterday 4.28.1008.

Supposed to tackle the slow update and launch problem.

The new update has increased the startup and updating speed.

Wow, I guess you ask and sometimes you receive. smile.gif
