I downloaded the newest version of Defraggler and attempted to run the program. I keep receiving a message from Windows stating a problem has been encountered, and Windows needs to close the program. This has happened 4 consecutive times as I've attempted to defrag my C drive. I was able to defrag my freesapce with no problem, and I've never had any problems with any of the previous versions of defraggler. The version I'm working with is 1.13.155. Any suggestions?

Perhaps running in debug mode may help the devs to see what is going on

I tried to run the debug program, to no avail. I receive a window stating windows can't find the path you gave me, specifically the debug program. I checked my Program Files for Defraggler and there is no Debug file in that folder. Should I unistall then re-install Defrag?

Off-topic question:

How can I replace the [folder entry] label with the name of folder?

I have also tried to run this and the same error appears for me that it cannot find the debug file / location. Is there a fix for the problem that when it scans at 3% it freezes and states windows needs to close?
I am running Windows Vista 32-bit OS.

Can you post some screenshots of the errors you get when trying to run in debug mode?

I have a problem too, every time i open defraggler and scan any of my Hdd's it freezes right when it says anaysis complete. i've try to reinstall but same thing happens.

P.D. I used the 1.0 before and never had any problems you guys think i'll should install that one again?

I could be wrong here, but I'm surprised you can manage to defrag at all with the small percentage of space you have on each drive.

It's recommended that you need at least 15% of the drive size to defrag correctly and probably safely, and I've had a defragger pop up a refusal with more space than you have available.

Although it may not have anything to do with your problem, I would seriously look to creating more space on both those drives for more reliable and efficient defragging.

If a previous version was working OK, I'd give it a try, although I wouldn't personally try defragging with so little space.

JMHO of course, but I hope it may be of some help.

EDIT: Welcome to Piriform by the way jersident

Thanks for the help i've moved a lot of files to my portable drive and have a lot more of space but the program continued to do that so i reinstall the older version i had and i worked perfectl.
