Hi, I run Avast anti virus, Spyware Doctor, Super anti spyware Professional and Spyware Blaster. I have XP SP3 with 1G of memory a parttitioned drive of 20G on C and 40|G on D with an an external disc of 250G. I am unable to run Spyware Doctor or Avast unless they are in Safe Mode Also Super Anti Spyware will only run a full scan if I run a Custom scan leaving the Registry unchecked. I keep getting BSOD with different reasons for the shut down each time.As I am a silver surfer and a novice I am at a loss as to what is wrong. I ran C Cleaner and have many items in the Registry checker but have been too nervous to cancel these although I do have a back up. How do you clean up the Registry or will I have to do a reformat and start again. Thanks Bethany
