i installed adobe photoshop element 6.0
then later on i uninstalled the software and i used the registry to clean the leftover.
but i found out that no matter how many times i scan and clean, the same reg keys will come out again.

not so sure why the unused file extension cannot be cleaned. please help me on this.

Just to confirm something. You scan, clean and scan again to find the same extensions? What happens if you scan, then right click an item and select 'Open in regedit' and delete the registry entry from there?

I see from the screenshot your running XP SP3. Is your user account an admin or standard account?

i scan, clean all one shot and scan again. i got the same thing. they key is still there.
i right click an item and open in regedit and try to delete from there it stated that "Error while deleting key"
im a join domain computer, debugger user account.

If you yourself cant delete a registry key with your account then it would seem to be a permission issue. Since your part of a domain, Im not sure what the proper course of action would be. Normally I would tell someone to either change thier account to an admin or run CC under an admin account. But I dont know enough about domains and the Debug user group to offer any real advice.

but for other program leftover or in the regedit, no problem at all to delete keys.
same using CCleaner before to clean other registry key.
