You cannot remove the deleted file names that Recuva lists from the MFT. This is quite normal with use on any pc, I should just live with it. You can overwrite the files if you wish, but the filenames will remain.

Avoid using UPPERCASE ONLY when posting, its a sign of aggression therefore not very friendly. wink.gif

Hi folks!

Is it possible to rename the deleted files? Like "cleaned_0001.rcv".

Not with Recuva. You could allocate a mass of files called cleaned_0001.rcv to cleaned_whatever, and then delete them. The allocation will use the spare entries in the MFT and overwrite the old names. Personally I wouldn't bother. The majority of them will go as you use your pc anyway.
