hey guys. where do i find my hostsfiles, and how do i delete them? i was using hostsman and i updated it and now i cant get on my myspace. i tried deleting those entries, but it didnt seem to work. so i got rid of hostsman thinking it would fix things-nadda.

i just want to start from scratch so i can get into my account. any ideas?

In Windows XP Home, it's c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

awesome! now can i just delete all the files in the folder to clear it out?

if there's anything in the hosts file, get rid of it with notepad. the other stuff you leave alone.

personally, i don't touch it. i use Spybot which now has its own entries for the hosts file smile.gif
