First I wanna start by saying I love the program and am grateful for all the hard work you all put into it.

Yesterday I updated to the latest release of CCleaner and ever since I have had a problem with Firefox. Each time I run CCleaner, the next time I open Firefox it says that Firefox is not my default browser, would I like to make it the default browser. I click yes and it's set back to default.

Weird thing is, I didn't change any of the program settings when I updated. I left everything the way it was in the previous version. Under the Firefox/Mozilla sections I have everything checked except Saved Form Information; just as I always have.

Any ideas what could be wrong? Thanks for any help.

Go to start run and enter:
firefox.exe -silent -nosplash -setDefaultBrowser

Let me know if that fixes your problem. :)

OK, so why did that fix the problem and why does the new version of CCleaner cause this to happen?

I don't think it does.

Well I hope that answers your questions. :P

Actually I just googled "firefox default browser" and came up with all sorts of people having problems with that after upgrading to IE7. I saw the fix and figured it was worth a shot. :D
