CCleaner want to remove HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT

I just installed the new version 1.39.502 and CCleaner wants to remove HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT???

Ouch, something like that should go in the Bug reports forum section.
Complexity of incoherent design.

Neither do I. I guess I should really pay more attention to what CCleaner removes from hence forth. All the more reason for an exclusion list to be implemented.

Not a bug.

If you guys look a little more closely at the picture it clearly says the key:

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT]

Have no associated extensions. CCleaner searched the HKCR for any extension using file-type "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT", and it resulted in nothing.

Why that key has been created in the first place I have no idea, but thats the bug here, not CCleaner detecting it and it should be "Cleaned".

No worries.
