What is supposed to happen?

Hi.
I've downloaded Recuva but nothing seems to happen except it scans my C: Drive only and then exits without warning.

I follow these steps:
1. Open Recuva
2. Choose Local Drive C: (which is the ONLY option)
3. Click on Scan

It takes a few minutes to scan the drive, says its found well over 130,000 files and then exits without warning.

The only error log I can find is this one:
