Hi DrFood, Welcome to the forum,

Your log looks fine but its best to start with a malware scanner to be sure there isnt any problems,

Run Kaspersky WebScanner
  • Please go HERE and click Kaspersky Online Scanner
  • Read and Accept the Agreement
  • You will be promted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
  • If you see a Windows dialog asking if you want to install this software, click the Install button.
  • The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files,
  • When the "Update progress" line changes to "Ready" and the "NEXT ->" button becomes available, please click on it.
  • Click on the Scan Settings button, and in the next window select the Extended database, and click Ok.
  • Under "Please select a target to scan:", click My Computer to start the scan.
  • When the scan is finished, click the "Save as Text" button, and save the file as kavscan.txt to your Desktop, close the Kaspersky On-line Scanner window.
Your version of Ewido is out of date as its now named AVG Anti-Spyware, if its the paid version then you can upgrade it here

http://www.ewido.net/en/upgrade/

If you have removed SpywareDoctor from the system then this entry can be fixed with HijackThis

O2 - BHO: PCTools Site Guard - {5C8B2A36-3DB1-42A4-A3CB-D426709BBFEB} - C:\PROGRA~1\SPYWAR~1\tools\iesdsg.dll (file missing)

Regarding slowdowns, here is afew things you can try which may help

You have alot of items starting with Windows, this isnt really a problem but if you find the system is running slow you could goto Start > Run > type Msconfig then press ok, when the system configuration screen opens goto the StartUp tab and check if you really need them all starting automatically, if there's any that you do not use that often and can be started manually when needed then uncheck their startup entry and click Apply and OK,

Run CCleaner to clear out temp files then run Disk Defrag

Goto Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter

Click the Analyze button and it will then check if you need to defragment the drive,if it shows 'You need to defragment this volume' then click the Defragment button,

If you feel the system is still slow run a full test with PCPitstop as it may help show whats causing the problems:

Visit PCPitStop
Click Test this system, it then may prompt you to install a ActiveX control , click Install if you get the option, then click Let's Go. When the tests are complete, a results page will pop up. Click Share these results with TechExpress on the menu then copy the URL provided and post it back, It should look like this:
