Hi All,
I have a quick question regarding the data that is written to the NTUSER.Dat file in windows XP upon installation/execution of CCleaner.
I have located an entry within the NTUSER.DAT/Software/VB and VBA Program Settings/Options key called UPDATEKEY. This has a date/time stamp associated with it and I am curious what this stamp is used for within the program (does it auto update if it has been a set time since last update?), as well, I am wondering what the conditions are surrounding this entry changing it's date and time. Does a successful update need to be performed or just a check for new updates, in order for this date/time stamp to change.

Any more information on this registry entry would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
