As it got a positive response when I mentioned it I thought I'd post it as a suggetsion:

To make the winapp2 entries easier to spot in CCleaner (and make it easier to select/unselect them) add an asterisk to the start of the programs name in winapp2, eg [Audacity] - [*Audacity].
Then not only is it easier to tell which programs listed in CCleaner are winapp2 entries but they also show up first in each section.

As said in the other thread, this is a very good idea, i've
immediately customized my CCleaner following your suggestion :)

The only thing i don't understand is why you like show first
something that is added. IMHO would be more logical show
first what come with CCleaner by default, and then the "optionals"
winapp.2 entries, isn't?

Because they are the entries I am most likely to unselect. Several of the entries in winapp2 I don't want cleaned with every CCleaner run, this is made easier by having them show first.

I suppose it could be made even easier by simply having a dedicated winapp2 section in CCleaner containing only the winapp2 entries (like the applications, multimedia, internet etc sections)

Yes a great idea, maybe make it a user selectable preamble. Users could select their own like "*", "*ini2-", "*2.ini-" or whatever. Makes for longer entries but great idea. Even an Icon preamble choice <_< , ....nah thats probably not possible as it's text. I should quit thinking outloud, especially online.
I like the dedicated winapp2 section in CCleaner suggestion.

I wasn't planning on doing it, but Andavari did it on his entries, so I did it on the rest. I gave him credit because you don't deserve it! Posted Image

It took me awhile to embrace the idea however one day when adding a bunch of entries a few weeks ago I decided it was indeed a brilliant change to make because all the winapp2.ini entries are very distinguishable from the default entries that CC installs. It's good that this is finally included in winapp2.ini!!!

All credit goes to JDPower! ;)
Complexity of incoherent design.
