How does recuva recover?
Does it simply compress and backup files or is their an other method. I don't want to know this becuz i want to steal the idea. its just that i am really pressed on hd space, want to install recuva but dont have to the extra hd space for any backups and such. for saving space on my computer i hav turned system restore and all other backups off.
will recuva be any different than system restore which is just like another recycle bin and takes up space on your hard drive?
plz reply

AFAIK – Recuva does not backup anything. Its job is to restore files that have been deleted.

Thats correct. It doesn't back anything up, its just for recovering files that were accidentally deleted. :)
