Anyone tried the new windows defender? I saw some sites are labeling it as "windows defender 7". I don't see that anywhere on MS' site but it was on download junkie like that.
If your using it, is the the same old thing or was it updated?

I have it installed and keep it up-to-date. Don't see any difference with the earlier versions

That was a mixup at the Microsoft download site; it is corrected by now.
The "new" Windows defender is just a new installer with the latest engine version (1.1.2306.0) built into it.
