I get the same error on my D: drive.
Setup as follows:
2 300 gig SATA2 Seagates in raid0
C: is a 25gig OS partition
D: is a 533gig data partition
Running XP Media Center/Homebrew computer built last July.
Recuva works fine on my C: drive. Just got same error with latest beta (37).
