Is it possible to pick up a signal with a wireless adapter even though there isn't a router connected to the other computer in my house. I don't even know ig my question makes sense. Also trying to install vonage with my verizon modem. Will that have an effect on this?? Seems like I just can't get a line through and was wondering if having Verizon DSL and subsequent modem would somehow block the Vonage signal???
