Hi, if anyone out there is using Thunderbird for their email program, can you please tell how to set it so that it does not go out and collect email from other accounts. i can't find the settings to do this. thanks.

If you go to Tools | Account Settings and for the account that you do not want to recieve mail, uncheck the 'Check for messages every X minutes'
If this is unchecked it will not check for mail.
