I'm getting that error popup anytime i try to log into my Hotmail... does it mean MSN's server is down or something?

by reading that error message, i conclude that Microsoft's SSL certificates are broken and retarted.

Well, i installed Windows Live Messenger and that seems to have solved the problem.
