Hi, id like to format my c:\ with a floppy disk, such as FDISK, but need the files, i tried to format from the XP Disk but it said i couldnt due to files on the disk needing to go there.
If anyone can give a link to a fdisk or somthing similar that would be great.
Also i've partitioned this hard disk and i want to keep the files on that partitioned drive.

You should be able to format C drive with the XP disk.

Have you set your first boot device in bios as cd?
