My monitor, although it says it will in the manual, will not display a resolution of 1280x1024. I have a crappy fx5500 but it worked fine with a different monitor of the same brand, both using the dvi connection. I've tried re-installing the graphics card drivers but still nothing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

What brand of Monitor and how old is it? CRT or LCD?

What OS you have? Windows 98SE, 2000 Professional, Xp Professional or Home?
