Interesting comparison of browser tools. There are alternatives to McAfee. Although not very many.

I've actually never heard of any of the "alternatives" they mentioned.
I wonder why the liked that toolbar...

I use WOT along with McAfee SiteAdvisor it seem to work very well it had even show sites McAfee said were safe to be bad or questionable.

I used that for a while but didn't like it. Its based purely on user ratings and as such I found some site ratings to be pretty silly.
