So ever since i hitched up my router, my computer no longer sends print jobs to the printer. any idea how to rectify this? hmmmm.

Unplug the printer, reboot the computer and then boot back up and reattach the usb. See if it works then.
I don't see how you could mess up the printer by using a router though... Unless you were tyring to share the printer with another computer and made a mistake doing that..

Well I tried unplugging the printer, rebooting the computer and then booting back up and reattaching the usb cable. nadda. i dont know what went wrong. i havent done anything else, and havent even used the printer in a long time, so not sure whats up. hmmmm. ill have to play around a little.

Try going into the control panel and configuring it. See if you can get it to print a test page.
I have no clue what kind of printer you have but for me I go to start>control panel>printers and other hardware>printers> and then right click the printer and go to properties.

My printer is in my signature. 
So I uninstalled the software that came with the printer, unplugged everything, ccleaned the comp, etc. and then reinstalled-everything is working again. dont know what the problem was with that.
