Before posting this I did a brief search through the forums and found similar suggestions. One that popped out at me was http://forum.ccleane...wtopic=1783&hl=, however I wanted to start a new topic on this because I don't feel that this specific subject has been touched on, even though it has been danced around a bit.

I would like to suggest that CCleaner add an icon to the Systray while using the "Run CCleaner" option off of the Recycle Bin. Just to clarify, I'm referring to the Systray in the lower right hand corner of your screen... next to the clock.

The reason I suggest this is because I am using a computer that isn't very fast (just a PIII 1Ghz with 128MB of RAM and a 20 GB harddrive) and use the DOD deletion method, so the cleaning process usually takes a little while depending on how much data it's deleting. I end up having to open the Windows Task Manager just to see if the process has completed. It would be far more convenient if the process added an icon to the Systray to indicate that it is running. Also, I think there would be nothing wrong with adding the icon whenever the program is running at all, including when you are using the interface. Perhaps the icon could change depending on what is taking place (I'm thinking of how O&O Defrag changes it's icon).

Welcome to the forums Jon :D
I think that's a good idea, especially if someone is using the AUTO parameter.
