According to the FAQ it is compatible. But make a backup because I have unsuccessfully had good experiences with ME and CC.

I only suggest that you backup your pc first when using ME! It's better to be safe than sorry.

Your point about backup is well made. My wife's pc uses ME, which is notorious for problems. I use Acronis True Image for complet hard drive backups to an external USB drive on both my pc and my wife's.

I already have Error Clean on my pc. The CCleaner is going on my wife's. Does CCleaner need periodic updates?
