Hi all just want to make sure I'm on the right track here.

I have:
EZ Anti-Virus
AVG Anti-Spyware (Formerly Ewido)
BitDefender's Online scan
HiJackThis

This is all I have.

Don't Spybot, Adaware, Windows Defender, Spyblaster.

I'm going to move this to the security forum since this isn't a hijackthis log request.

If you want my suggestion, get spyware blaster since the level of protection it offers for the 2 seconds it takes to download and set up is worth it.(plus it only runs once so it doesn't slow you down).

Make sure you have the windows firewall turned on. Other then that then your fine. (a host file wouldn't be a bad idea though).

Some programs you could try if you want:

Ad-aware is alright in my book, especially since it can also scan Alternate Data Streams ("ADS") on NTFS volumes.
Complexity of incoherent design.

I still use adaware and would recommend people use it.
The only reason I took it out of the main spyware removal guide was I wanted to shorten the process a bit.(in hopes that more people would follow it before posting logs.)

I tell people to run those three scans in every topic anyway if they haven't done it so I was trying to save both me and them some time. :D
