Ccleaner and Yahoo toolbar

Every time I download an update on the CCleaner I have the yahoo-toolbar installed on my computer. Why is that? Is that necessary?

Welcome to the forum Vigron :)

You must be using the standard build, use the slim build from here, it has no toolbar

Thanks for the very quick reply. I will try this for the future. I do like CCleaner a lot.

Vigron, you can always go to add and remove programs in your control panel and uninstall the yahoo toolbar from there.

If you downloaded the standard installer, you can just uncheck the Yahoo toolbar option during install.
