I have used Picasa for quite a while now.

In the last month I have also used the computer for saving POI's (points of interest for satellite navigation systems for cars) On looking today in Picasa I see that all the .bmp's which show up on the sat nav screen are saved in picasa. I deleted the folder and checked in my Garmin sat nav folder and they were gone, so I had to restore them from the recycle bin.

How can I stop them from going in Picasa or at least delete them without losing the originals?

To get them to quit showing in picasa you can right click them and choose hide.(individual files) Or right click the folder and choose remove from picasa.

Or you can tell picasa to quit scanning for the files at all. Tools>folder manager and then tell picasa which files to leave alone.

Let me know if that is what you wanted. :D

That's worked, and the originals are still there

Thanks :)
