As of a few days ago, my friend's PC has been displaying different characters than are typed. The A key always puts an O character anywhere she types it, for example. She swapped out keyboards to confirm before she came to me with it. Never having heard of this problem before, I had her go in safe mode and try there, and there was no difference. She's doing a disk check now. I'm clueless on this one. I wasn't sure how to word this problem on a Google search, so I came here with it. Thanks.

No idea about this just googled a bit. Is there any chance her keyboard could be set to this by mistake instead of English US ?

She's on Win2000, but I'll have her check it. Thanks.
