Download AVG Anti-Spyware
- Load AVG antispyware and then click the Update tab at the top. Under Manual Update click Start update.
- After the update finishes (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
- Click on the Scanner tab at the top and then click on Complete System Scan
- Ewido will list any infections found on the left, when the scan has finished, it will automatically set the recommended action. Click the Apply all actions button. AVG antispyware will then display "All actions have been applied" on the right.
- Click on "Save Report", then "Save Report As". This will create a text file which you can then save to the Desktop and post back
Run BitDefender Online Scanner
- Using internet Explorer please go HERE to run BitDefender's Online scan.
- Read the terms and then click I Agree
- You may receive a Security Warning about the BitDefender ActiveX control, If you do, please allow it to install.
- On the scanning Options screen, Press Click Here To Scan and then follow the on screen prompts.
- Once bit defender is finished scanning your computer it will automatically remove the infections. Once the removal process is finished press the close button and a dialog box will appear asking if you want to send your scan log back to the makers of bitdefender. You do not have to do this but what you do want to do is press the button that says "view log" and then copy and paste that log into notepad and save it to your desktop as bitdefender.txt.
- Reboot your computer
Come back with an AVG log, a Bitdefender log, and new hijackthis log.

::Report end
I did what you said and let AVG do whatever action is says to do, and all of them were "Ignore". I can scan again later and remove them if needed be.
I am currently doing the BitDefender scan now. It wouldn't update fully either. I left it updating and when I came back about 10-15 minutes later, it said it couldn't finish the update because of some connection. I did the scan anyway. I'll probably end up posting that log later.
While I'm waiting, I need to ask a question. I am currently using Spybot Search and Destroy, Spyware Doctor(registered), and Norton '06. I, personally, like Norton's firewall, it seems to block a lot of things. And, I like the logs that it keeps of everything going on. But, what other programs do you recommend? I also now have Hijack This and AVG Anti-Spyware. I don't want a lot of programs because I need some free space for my art too. Thanks a lot for your help.

Install the file to update AVG antispyware. Then scan again and set everything that it finds to remove.
Post a new avg log and a new hijackthis log.

I helped someone get rid of a virus by using Hijack This. I'm learning it now, and I used some other reports on here. I got her using Spybot, Hijack This, AVG, and later on when she get's online, I'm gonna get her to download CCleaner to clean up her harddrive. I want to either be a concept artist(thats why I have Photoshop and the Wacom tablet)
or a computer "tech guy". I don't know what they are called, but I want to be someone that fixes computers software or hardware wise. Thank you for your help.

Run Killbox by clicking the killbox.exe file on the desktop
In the Full Path of File to Delete window type (or copy and paste)
C:\WINDOWS\system32\lc149qnv.exe
Select the options Delete on reboot and Unregister .dll Before Deleting
Click the button: Single File and it should then flash green.
Then press the Delete File button (Red Circle with a White X).
Killbox will tell you that all listed files will be removed on next reboot and asks if you would like to Reboot now, click YES
If you don't get that message, reboot manually.
Your computer should reboot now.
After the reboot post a new hijackthis log.

That file is a trojan.(sometimes they have randomly generated names)
Just skip the .dll part and post a new log after the reboot.

Should I try it in Safe Mode?
Can I have a few other options to try if that doesn't work either?

It might have been removed by another program and might just need a reboot to disapear. Follow the below instructions before rebooting.
Open hijackthis and do a system scan only. Then check off the following entry:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [lc149qnv] C:\WINDOWS\system32\lc149qnv.exe
O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {9819CC0E-9669-4D01-9CD7-2C66DA43AC6C} - (no file)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: ssqro - C:\WINDOWS\system32\ssqro.dll (file missing)
Now pressed fixed checked and reboot.
Post a new hijackthis log once your booted back up.
