Hiya all. Long time no c.

I have this problem, its not a huge deal but its rather anoyning.
I dont know if its spyware ore not, but i post it here anyway.

Each time i start up my computer, then when i have reached the desktop screen {Front screen.. whatever} Then there will just go.. 2-3 sec and a big blue screen pops up for 2 seconds with no chance of reading it and my computer automatily restarts...
I can only get onto my comp if i click F8 in start and click start the computer up as the last working function.

Hope anyone can help!.
Thanks in advance :)

Ouch, I guess a hijackthis log would be a good start.
Were you using registry cleaners or anything before your computer did this? Anything you can think to link the problems too?

I think this is a memory problem... you should first try reseating your RAM (You have a laptop, right? It can be somewhat tricky - be careful with that screwdriver) and switching them around.

If not you can try running MemTest, which scans for memory errors. In my experience though, it only worked so-so, as it detected errors but simply reseating my sticks fixed it.

I do think this is relevant, but I can't rememeber what the solution was ...!

I recently had issue with my quick launch toolbar (it wouldn't start ..) anyhoo, there apparently there was a virus that disable MS. A side-effect was to restart the computer immediateley.

I can't remember the name, but I guess the info is still there. If I remember, I'll let u know !

Have fun finding out - I do hope u do.
