Today a new version of the free, open source office suite Openoffice.org got released.
It can read and write documents from Microsoft Office, and furthermore supports the OpenDocument Format (ODF) which is an ISO standard. It also exports to PDF and many other formats.
Get it at www.openoffice.org while its still fresh.
