i have encarta premium 2006 installed,but i want it NOT to run on startup. i deleted the entry but keeps coming back on starup entry. what might be the problem?

I have 2005 around here somewhere on dvd but I never installed it. LOL pretty sad. 
Anyway there are a couple of ways you could disable it. Easiest would probably be to use this program:
http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml
Just install it and then switch your control panel to classic view and click the start up botton. Then uncheck anything in the tabs that say encarta and reboot.
