So I use CCleaner every day and all is good. But, the new version appears to delete things in the Recycle Bin without asking-or am I wrong. The machine is running Win XP Pro SP2 and is otherwise just fine. Any ideas are most welcome.

There is a checkbox in the "Windows" tab in CCleaner under "System" that says "Empty recycle bin" that you can check or uncheck.

You don't store anything important in the recycle bin anyways, or do you?
