I assume the passwords are encrypted, but I don't know.

It depends on if other people have access to that computer, and how many, and who they are. It depends on if they got access to your Windows account, etc.

Ask on the Mozilla Firefox forum. http://forums.mozill...g/index.php?c=4
Or in the Firefox chat channel on #firefox at irc.mozilla.org

I don't know how or where the passwords are saved, and if any spyware could steal them if it entered your system. But I assume they are encrypted and that they are pretty safe.

I never heard of any website tricking the browser into getting passwords that were meant for another website or something like that.

I assume it is pretty safe.
