:) I just downloaded CCleaner and used it for the first time. I thought that I would have the option to select to backup/save my settings when I clicked on OK CCleaner. I did not see that option, and would like to be able to do this just in case there is a problem in cleaning the registry.
I read past posts and did not see an answer to this.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hello richn13 and welcome to the forum :)

There is an option to back up the registry cleaning part of Ccleaner, (the issues )
Have a read of the beginnners guide here, it will help you quite a bit.

remember, this is for the issues, not the cleaner.
also, you have to click "fix issues" for it to come up with a prompt.
thus, if you have no issues, you have no need for a backup.
hope to see you around =D
