I keep telling my folks NOT to use IE and to use Fire Fox.....but no, the "wizard" of the computer thinks he
knows everything about it  .
I find out that he keeps using IE and has gotten more than probably 300 ActiveX and its not a pretty site of all these downloaders and trojans.

I need a MASSIVE Active X uninstaller/delete program to get rid of literaly ActiveX Hell and further down.

ANY suggestions appreciated. :)

You can simply go to Internet Options and on the General tab click Settings > Show Objects, rightclick a given ActiveX control you want to get rid of and choose 'remove' from the context menu.

Alternatively, post a HijackThis log in the appropriate section of this forum, and someone will help.

Thank You for the info.
I did that and only about 15 or so came up.

I was running spyblaster and i found a LOT more Active X controls...hundreds

Helpers,
Varietns,
Downloaders
Goldun
Hijakcers
Dailers
Adware
Torjan.Downloader
Win Delf
And a lot of other stuff...
Thats in Spyblaster when I click the IE tab and check off the "Prevent active X based spyware.
All in the Block Content or something box below.

If you mean Javacool's SpywareBlaster, it does NOT in fact DETECT anything on your computer.

What you see is just the list of registry keys belonging to malware it PROTECTS against. This is not about malware actually present on your computer...
