Hi, my GF's parents computer is infected with Viruses and Spyware. Topic located here. You'll see in the second page on that topic that I stated the games they have Installed might or... might not be the problem. Anyways, I would like to know where to download *Freeware games. They like to play the old arcade type games. Like you go up and down shooting alot of stuff to gain points and what not.

I am not sure where you can download freeware games. Try Miniclip.com's download section.
Also, check these two sites site out.. great and fun games
http://www.mousebrea...hp?page=shooter
http://www.addictinggames.com/
Edit: Check www.teagames.com

for freeware games, we have about 5000 of them old classic games..
just download a emulator called "mame32" and you can download any classic games that you want.
if i remember correctly, they're free to download, just google.

Also search for open source games on http://sourceforge.net/, just using the term "game" as a search over 7,000 links are shown, you can of course narrow down the search using specific terms.

SuperTux - kind of like Super Mario, but with Tux the penguin instead. Both my sisters enjoy this game.
Secret Maryo Chronicles - Super Mario clone, my sister enjoy this.
BzFlag - action tank game.
Battle of Wesnoth - turn-based medival fantasy strategy game.
