I want my cursor to disappear when the mouse hasn't moved for several seconds. Is there an option in Windows (W2K, in my case) or something else that can do this? Thanks.

The closest I can remember offhand is going to Control Panel -> Mouse and making it so that the cursor is hidden while typing.
I know there are ways to make it turn on and off at will, but those are somewhat complicated and I actually don't really remember/know how to do them.

Yes, disappearing while I'm typing would be fine. I don't have that option on my mouse settings, however.

If you look on this page it shows you a picture of where that setting should be. Are you using XP?

Aaron - I found Cursor Hider already, but it's shareware and not worth $15 for what I need.
hazelnut - I use Win2000. Unless there's some hidden tweek, I'm out of luck unless there's a freeware for this out there.
