Hi Lizidian
The Log looks good, just have HijackThis fix this line:
R3 - URLSearchHook: Yahoo! Toolbar - {EF99BD32-C1FB-11D2-892F-0090271D4F88} - (no file)
If you think there might be some malware issues run a scan with Ewido and post back the log then we can take it from there:
Download Ewido Anti-Spyware

If you think there might be some malware issues run a scan with Ewido and post back the log then we can take it from there:
Download Ewido Anti-Spyware
- Load Ewido and then click the Update tab at the top. Under Manual Update click Start update.
- After the update finishes (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
- Click on the Scanner tab at the top and then click on Complete System Scan
- Ewido will list any infections found on the left, when the scan has finished, it will automatically set the recommended action. Click the Apply all actions button. Ewido will then display "All actions have been applied" on the right.
- Click on "Save Report", then "Save Report As". This will create a text file which you can then save to the Desktop and post back

Alright man I fixed that line, thanks for always being so helpful
Also I have a quick question, are there any other little security apps that are really helpful like hijackthis that are small so I can keep them on my computer and run them everynow and then that you would know of?
As for the ewido scan report it showed nothing... so hopefully everything is good again

Hi Lizidian
No problem, always happy to help when I can, HijackThis is quite unique so I cannot think of any programs that would benefit you in the same way as most of the tools we use are for infections which hopefully you will never need
Combofix is very useful but again it's more for specific infections like Qoologic, Look2me, SurfSideKick, Command Service, DollarRevenue junk etc.. and for getting a list of files that have been created in the last few months plus for checking reg values that do not show in HijackThis. Usually programs like Ewido, SpywareBlaster, Spybot and Ad-Aware are all you would need for day to day use
Just so you can see how it works, please run Combofix and post back the log
Download this file - combofix.exe and save it to your desktop.
Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
When it's finished, it will produce a log of what it found. Please post the contents of that log in your next reply
Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running as it may cause it to stall
Thanks
