Microsoft will update a patch by next Tuesday that's causing a version of IE (Internet Explorer) to suddenly crash.

The patch, MS06-042, fixed several security vulnerabilities, Microsoft said yesterday. A 'hotfix' is available pending the forthcoming update.

The trouble affects users running IE 6.0 with Service Pack 1.0 on the Windows XP OS (operating system) running Service Pack 1 or the Windows 2000 OS with Service Pack 4.

In other news, Microsoft is about to patch the patch for the patch!
Because the patch broke the patch that did patch the patch, so get the new patch else you might have to patch the patch for the patch or patch the patch!
