Glad to have the forum back up and running after the problems today.

SQL can be a pain sometimes. It happens on almost every site I know. Usually SQL is the first to go, it needs to be restarted every now and then.

I checked this morning and saw the problems. I'm glad everything got fixed.
I couldn't do anything at all if I was logged in. But strangely enough I could log out and browse around fine.

Yeah, I noticed this problem too.
Seems to be gone now though.

Afaik, MySQL and PostGreSQL is pretty rock-solid.

Sometime the hosts run out of space, so they cant write to the file or something.

Huh. I guessed I missed it? The forums went down for a while?

It was only for a few hours(I think.) I got on in the morning before I left and when I got home that afternoon it was working again.

Those SQL errors TwistedMetal spoke of are they those that I see every once in a while when visiting some forums, where it will state something like ("I don't remember the exact wording"): MySQL Error Line 43.
Then again I've seen sites like that which never load and always result into an error page.
Complexity of incoherent design.

It came up as SQL error 145. I copied and pasted it and sent it to Piriform as I couldn't reach anybody here obviously. They sent me a nice thank you e-mail back as they hadn't known about it.
