I discovered a process (wuauclt.exe) and searched it to find out it is usually associated with a worm or trojan, CPU 0, Memory Usage around 7,000. If it got past my apps, it is because I don't think my wife would know what to do with an alert! So I go after it with the best apps I have, ewido, NOD32, Spy Sweeper and even the MS programs and they find nothing. It is still there sometimes, sometimes not there. It may be associated with CM DiskCleaner, which I've used the registry cleaner for months and months without any problems, however, in the middle of a scan my daughter came home tonight and minimized it, checked her mails and XP froze, one of the few times in its life. That is how I discovered it. There was a recent update for CM DC. What is going on? Thank You!
