Hello,

I have here some suggestions for CCleaner.

I really hope, that they are realizable.

1. An option to compress and defragment the registry

2. A function to search in the registry for manual deleting. I know, that you can search with regedit, but not for multiple results for one search term.

3. A deep scan on drives and registry for more results.

4. In the box, where you can mark the checkboxes for the registry cleaning would it be very good, if you could choose after scanning one of the marked points with the checkboxes to view only the reg-problems for this category.

5. A possibility (maybe an extra option) to view the program icons under "Uninstall" and "Startup"

Thanks and sry for that bad English! :)

Edit: Damn, I haven't seen the subforum before. :(

Regards,

Peter Stahl

I use the great tools ERUNT and NTREGOPT to accomplish these tasks:

Description is available in both English and German :)

I believe that this site will help:

I use CCleaner to Scan for Issues to remove obsolete registry entries:

I'm sure this is the wrong thread for this post...
But I was unsure where else to post it...

I suggest you keep up the good work...
I love this Program...
I was also using a Program called...
RegScrubXP...
but it was out of date...
it deleted something in my registry
that handled flash... in IE...
I would go to a flash page... like
comedycentral.com
and it would always direct me to download Flash Player
even though I had it...
it didn't seem to effect FireFox...
Your registry cleaner doesn’t do this...

although CCleaner dose delete a file from
"Sierra Home Architect"
but for some reason...
"Sierra Home Architect" stores an essential file in the temp folder...
oh well... it's a minor thing...
considering how great your program is!!!
but... Like I said...
the real reason I wrote was to tell you home much I love CCleaner
